What is Bulk Editing
Bulk editing is when you make changes to multiple records or data entries at once. It’s a way to update large sets of information (like prices, categories, or attributes) without having to click into each individual item. Whether you’re managing customer profiles, inventory lists, product catalogs, or digital assets, bulk editing helps you not only save time but also cut down on mistakes.
A brief history
In the early days of data management, bulk edits typically meant exporting your database to a spreadsheet, manually editing rows and columns, and reimporting the file. It worked, but it was slow.
