What is Process Log
The Process Log is where you can see what’s happening behind the scenes in Plytix, like imports, exports, bulk edits, or feed updates. It shows you what’s running, what’s finished, and who triggered what.
Examples
| Action | Description |
| Importing a CSV | Shows up in the Process Queue while processing, then moves to Activity |
| Exporting product data | Tracks manual or scheduled exports from product or asset overviews |
| Updating a Channel | Logs scheduled or manual updates to feeds and Channels |
| Bulk updating product fields | Displays bulk edit jobs, who ran them, and when they finished |
| Completion attribute calculation | Tracks when Completion Attributes are recalculated |
Good to know
- The Process Log is located in the top-right corner of Plytix, next to your account name.
- It’s split into two sections: Process Queue (active or pending) and Activity (recently completed).
- Clicking on a process shows who ran it, what was done, and when it finished.
- You can cancel certain processes by clicking the red ‘X’ (if you have the right permissions).
- Canceling a process stops it from continuing, but it won’t undo any steps that have already run.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel a process if it’s already started?
Sometimes. You can cancel in-progress imports, channel updates, or scheduled feeds, but only if your permissions allow it.
What’s the difference between the Process Queue and Activity?
The Queue shows processes still running or waiting to run. Activity shows the last 25 completed events.
Will canceling a process undo the changes?
No. It will stop the process from continuing, but any changes that have already happened won’t be rolled back.
Who can see or cancel processes?
Everyone can view the Process Log. But only users with account management permissions (or the user who started the process) can cancel them.
